Global Philanthropy Environment Index: Africa Edition
The Africa edition of the 2022 Global Philanthropy Environment Index (GPEI) provides information about the philanthropic environment in 13 countries across the African continent. These economies have diverse cultural, political, and ethnic histories that shape the context for philanthropy. This research serves to compare the environment for philanthropy across economies and sub-regions, and to inform practitioners about the various regulatory and political factors influencing civil society across Africa.
